# Analyst Reaffirms Buy on Chipotle as Same-Store Outperformance, Menu Innovation, and Youth Engagement Support Long-Term Earnings Growth

Wolfe Research analyst Greg Badishkanian maintained a Buy rating on Chipotle yesterday and set a price target of $40.00.

Greg Badishkanian has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors, starting with Chipotle’s ability to outperform expectations on same-store sales while still lifting its full-year outlook. Despite some recent softness tied to industry-wide issues, underlying trends suggest healthier traffic and sales momentum than headline figures imply.

He also points to improving engagement from younger and lower-income customers, supported by successful menu innovation and promotions that enhance value perception. New product launches, including strong-performing limited-time offerings and planned beverage innovation, provide additional levers for growth and margin support, reinforcing confidence in Chipotle’s long-term earnings potential. 

In another report released today, D.A. Davidson also reiterated a Buy rating on the stock with a $50.00 price target.
