Yangtze Optical Fibre surges 5% in Hong Kong on H1 profit alert
Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable (6869.HK) surged more than 5% in Hong Kong trading before paring gains, with the stock slipping 0.10% to HK$96.65. The company issued a profit alert, forecasting first-half 2026 net profit attributable to shareholders to surge 711% to 914% year-over-year.
Separately, Yangtze Optical Fibre announced it will acquire the remaining 25% stake in YOFC Shanghai for 12 million euros, taking full ownership. The deal is aimed at optimizing the equity structure and strengthening delivery capabilities in the computing optical cable segment.
