The PBOC conducted RMB46.5 billion of seven-day reverse repos, while RMB605.5 billion reverse repos matured, resulting in a net daily withdrawal of RMB559 billion. The three major A-share indices opened 0.2% to 1.5% higher before extending gains throughout the day, ending up 0.3% to 5.6%. The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 3,822, up 12 pts or 0.33%, with turnover of RMB1 trillion. The Shenzhen Component Index gained 437 pts or 3.25% to close at 13,885, with turnover of RMB1.21 trillion. The ChiNext Index surged 186 pts or 5.64% to close at 3,488, with turnover of RMB601.613 billion. Among mainland Chinese banking stocks, ICBC (601398.SH) -0.300 (-3.769%) and CCB (601939.SH) -0.350 (-3.349%) fell 3.8% and 3.4%, respectively, while BANK OF CHINA (601988.SH) -0.210 (-3.483%) declined 3.5%, AGRICULTURAL BANK (601288.SH) -0.280 (-4.064%) dropped 4.1%, and CMB (600036.SH) -1.080 (-2.676%) lost 2.7%. Mainland Chinese insurance stocks also weakened, with CHINA LIFE (601628.SH) -0.850 (-2.207%) down 2.2% and CHINA PACIFIC INSURANCE (601601.SH) -1.200 (-3.639%) falling 3.6%. In addition, BYD Company (002594.SZ) -3.300 (-3.494%) dropped 3.5% after Denza Z9S launched pre-sales with a starting price of RMB319,800. CONTEMPORARY AMPEREX (300750.SZ) +0.700 (+0.177%) edged up 0.2%. Among chip stocks, SMIC (688981.SH) +4.600 (+3.948%) rose nearly 4%, while HUA HONG GRACE (688347.SH) +17.450 (+7.950%) climbed nearly 8%. AI chip stock CAMBRICON (688256.SH) +50.210 (+4.884%) gained 4.9%. Domestic GPU stocks METAX (688802.SH) +31.040 (+4.668%) and MOORE THREADS (688795.SH) +13.630 (+2.421%) rose 4.7% and 2.4%, respectively. LQKJ (688008.SH) +13.310 (+7.007%) advanced 7%. Optical fiber stock YANGTZE OPTICAL FIBRE (601869.SH) +21.700 (+8.273%) gained 8.3%. Memory chip stock GIGADEVICE (603986.SH) +15.280 (+4.484%) rose 4.5%. SEMIGHT INSTRUMENTS (688808.SH) +324.800 (+20.000%) hit limit up. As for CXMT (688825.SH) +0.010 (+0.018%) , the stock closed nearly flat for the day. APPTEC (603259.SH) +12.850 (+10.000%) hit limit up after its 1H26 net profit increased 33.7% YoY to RMB11.08 billion, alongside an interim dividend of RMB0.51 per share. Other CRO concept stocks also performed strongly, with BAI HUA PHARMA (600721.SH) +0.720 (+10.000%) hitting limit up at market open. Among the three major optical module players, ZHONGJI INNOLIGHT (300308.SZ) +119.490 (+13.240%) surged 13.2%, with turnover exceeding RMB49.7 billion. TFC (300394.SZ) +31.500 (+17.452%) and EOPTOLINK (300502.SZ) +53.920 (+13.683%) jumped 17.5% and 13.7%, respectively.
