# Apple's annual sales in India exceed $10 billion as retail expansion accelerates

Apple's annual sales in India surpassed $10 billion for the first time in the last fiscal year, highlighting the surge in demand for its high-priced devices in the local market, while Apple is also steadily expanding its retail network in the region.

According to a source familiar with the matter, Apple's revenue in the Indian market grew by double digits to approximately $9 billion in the 12 months ending in March. The source indicated that Apple's flagship product, the iPhone, accounted for the vast majority of sales, while demand for the iPad and MacBook also saw an increase.

Although India currently represents only a small portion of Apple's overall business, this South Asian country is emerging as one of the company's key sales regions outside the United States.
