# Honda Motor's net profit for the first fiscal quarter is 450.9 billion yen, raising the full-year operating profit forecast to 650 billion yen

**Guandian News:** On August 5th, Honda Motor announced its first-quarter performance.

Net sales were 6.06 trillion yen, a year-on-year increase of 14%, exceeding the market estimate of 5.82 trillion yen.

Operating profit was 530.77 billion yen, compared to 244.17 billion yen in the same period last year, with a market estimate of 300.16 billion yen.

Net profit was 450.92 billion yen, compared to 196.67 billion yen in the same period last year, with a market estimate of 250.78 billion yen.

In addition, Honda Motor raised its full-year operating profit forecast to 650 billion yen, up from the previous estimate of 500 billion yen
