# SpyGlass Pharma Insiders Enjoying US$1.1m Appreciation On US$2.16m Investment

Last week, **SpyGlass Pharma, Inc.** (NASDAQ:SGP) insiders, who had purchased shares in the previous 12 months were rewarded handsomely. The shares increased by 10% last week, resulting in a US$74m increase in the company's market worth, implying a 51% gain on their initial purchase. As a result, the stock they originally bought for US$2.16m is now worth US$3.25m.

Although we don't think shareholders should simply follow insider transactions, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.

Although we like to see insider buying, we note that this large purchase was at significantly below the recent price of US$24.11.
