# China Securities Journal: Regular Issuance of RMB Treasury Bonds in Hong Kong Broadens Channels for Foreign Investment in Chinese Assets

On August 5, the Ministry of Finance conducted a tender issuance of the fourth tranche of 2026 RMB treasury bonds, totaling RMB 15 billion, to institutional investors in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The issuance was widely welcomed by investors, with a subscription ratio reaching 4.67 times. Experts believe that the regular issuance of RMB treasury bonds in Hong Kong helps meet the asset allocation needs of international capital, improves the offshore RMB benchmark interest rate curve, and continuously promotes the internationalization of the RMB.
