Centrica Energy and Zelestra Sign Tolling Agreement in Germany to Enable 297 MWh Standalone BESS

In Berlin, Centrica Energy and Zelestra have entered a physical tolling agreement for 99 MW / 297 MWh of battery storage capacity at Zelestra’s Hilgermissen BESS project in Lower Saxony, Germany. Zelestra will be responsible for developing, constructing, and owning the battery storage project, leveraging their track record in delivering large-scale projects in various markets and their substantial pipeline throughout Europe. Engineering and procurement tasks are expected to be finalized by the end of this year.
