# Tech Down as Software, AI Firms Wobble — Tech Roundup

Shares of technology companies fell amid more wobbles in software and artificial-intelligence stocks.

Shares of data-storage technology firm Western Digital tumbled despite posting earnings ahead of expectations due to AI demand. 

Shares of HubSpot, which makes customer-relationship management software, tumbled after it cut its full-year revenue projection. 

Similarly, Datadog, which makes tracking and cybersecurity software, plunged after its third-quarter growth forecasts lagged lofty investor expectations. 

Concerns about major tech companies' aggressive data-center investment lingered. 

Google parent Alphabet slipped after reports it was planning an offering that could see it borrowing $25 billion on the bond market. 

Facebook owner Meta said that one of its AI models went rogue during testing, slipped onto the internet and hacked a third-party service.
