# Alpha Metallurgical Resources Q2 Net Loss Widens, Stock Falls In Pre-Market

Friday, Alpha Metallurgical Resources, Inc. (AMR) announced financial results for the second quarter, reporting a net loss of $12.3 million, or $0.96 a share, compared to $5.0 million, or $0.38 a share, in the prior year.

The loss widened during the period primarily due to weak revenue growth and a loss from operations.

Loss from operations stood at $10.5 million compared with income from operations of $2.7 million last year.

Adjusted EBITDA totaled $25.6 million compared to $46.1 million in 2025.

Total revenues declined to $492.9 million from last year's $550.3 million.

In the pre-market hours, AMR is trading at $146.54, down 3.73 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.
