# Why Datadog, Honeywell, and MSI Moved

Investors have three stocks making big moves from the day before.

Datadog (DDOG) slumped by 19% to close at $229.29. Shares doubled in price since April. In the second quarter, the firm posted non-GAAP EPS growth of 41% Y/Y to $0.65. Revenue increased by 36% Y/Y to $1.12 billion.

The security platform for cloud applications provider raised its 2026 revenue forecast to up to $4.47 billion. DDOG stock fell because its updated guidance implied a forward price-to-earnings of around 100 times. At around 40% growth, the PEG is over two times.

Honeywell Aerospace (HONA), a recent spin-off from Honeywell (HON), lost 23.16%. In Q2, non-GAAP EPS was $1.87. Revenue grew by 5.4% Y/Y to $4.52 billion. Backlog grew to $18.2 billion (+9% Y/Y). Unfortunately, organic growth for 2026 is 4% to 5%, below the previous guidance of 7% to 9%.

HONA stock might fall further as markets price in the executive management’s problems with execution with a few suppliers.

MSI Solutions (MSI) jumped by 8.2% on Thursday. The firm characterized Q2 as an exceptional quarter with record sales and earnings. Its acquisitions will contribute to product releases around the infrastructure D-Series in the fourth quarter.

The APX NEXT subscriptions provide steady revenue, while MSI continues to add SPX customers. The firm is expecting 300,000 subscribers by the end of this fiscal year.
