# Post-Earnings Surges Lift Sprouts and WPP as Diverse Sectors Navigate 2026 Capital Shifts

In the opening phases of the second half of 2026, a barrage of earnings reports and capital allocation updates has highlighted a fractured market landscape across equities. According to recent filings and market data, while retail and advertising giants are finding margin relief and consequently enjoying sharp stock run-ups, capital-intensive firms in the energy and digital asset sectors are doubling down on high-stakes expansion plans. The divergence signals that investors are intensely focused on cash flow resilience and localized expansion tailwinds.

### Strive (SATA.US)

Strive is rapidly expanding its footprint in digital asset management. According to people familiar with the matter, the firm accumulated additional Bitcoin in late July 2026 at an average price hovering between USD 63,000 and USD 65,000, bringing its total treasury holdings past the 20,020 threshold. The ongoing purchases solidify its rank among the top corporate Bitcoin holders globally. Furthermore, the company raised the dividend rate on its SATA permanent preferred stock to 13.00%. Despite posting a net loss of USD 393.6 million in the first quarter, the aggressive balance sheet maneuvers helped lift its shares by more than 5% toward the end of July.

### Sprouts Farmers Market (SFM.US)

The health-focused grocery chain posted second-quarter net sales of USD 2.33 billion, up 5% from the same period last year, while delivering diluted EPS of USD 1.37. The earnings beat triggered a massive intraday rally, sending the stock soaring over 16% in early August. CEO Jack Sinclair noted that the strong performance of new store formats is highly encouraging. The retailer is targeting 42 net new store openings in 2026 and raised its full-year forecast, now expecting net sales to climb 5.5% to 6.5%.

### WPP (WPP.US)

The UK-based advertising conglomerate provided early evidence that its turnaround strategy is taking hold. While H1 2026 revenue less pass-through costs fell 4.7% to GBP 4.74 billion, the Q2 decline narrowed to 2.8%. Stronger media operations and newly secured mandates from clients like Estée Lauder helped shore up confidence, sending shares surging 26% post-earnings. CEO Cindy Rose stated that the financial results met internal expectations, and the company is reaffirming its target for a pre-tax profit margin between 12% and 13% for the year.

### United Overseas Bank (UOVEY.US)

The Singaporean banking heavyweight reported Q2 net profit of SGD 1.5 billion, representing a 10% year-over-year jump. Total revenue reached USD 2.8 billion, comfortably beating consensus estimates of USD 2.72 billion. While the net interest margin softened to 1.74% from 1.82% in the previous quarter, a surge in wealth management fees offset the lending squeeze. The board subsequently declared an interim dividend of 88 cents per ordinary share.

### TETRA Technologies (TTI.US)

The energy services provider delivered one of its strongest half-year financial runs in a decade. Q2 2026 revenue hit USD 185.7 million, marking a 19% sequential increase. According to regulatory filings, TETRA recently raised USD 108.2 million via an equity offering to fund the final investment decision for its Arkansas Bromine Project. Simultaneously, the firm is deepening its offshore footprint, securing a three-well deepwater contract in the U.S.

### Ormat Technologies (ORA.US)

Ormat reported a 10.6% jump in Q2 total revenue to USD 258.8 million, driven largely by its energy storage segment, which saw top-line figures nearly triple compared to 2025. Adjusted EBITDA rose to USD 143.9 million, prompting management to raise its full-year revenue forecast to a range of USD 1.15 billion to USD 1.2 billion. While analysts trimmed their price target on the stock slightly, they maintained an Outperform rating.

### B2Gold (BTG.US)

The Canadian mining firm cleared a major regulatory hurdle in early August 2026, securing the Menankoto exploitation permit from the Malian government. Operations generated USD 789.3 million in gold revenue during the second quarter on production of 203,648 ounces. B2Gold maintained its 2026 production guidance of 820,000 to 970,000 ounces, noting it will hold a 65% stake in the newly permitted Menankoto zone.

### Leishen Energy (LSE.US)

The Beijing-headquartered clean energy equipment manufacturer is intensifying its overseas footprint. Beyond its domestic hubs, the company is allocating capital toward new manufacturing facilities in Abu Dhabi and Riyadh. The capacity shift aims to capture surging demand for integrated oil and gas solutions across the Middle East.

### NICE (NICE.US) & SRX Health Solutions (SRXH.US)

Trading volume and fresh catalysts remain light for software firm NICE and supply chain operator SRX Health Solutions. With no major near-term disclosures crossing the wire, market participants are largely awaiting the next cycle of routine regulatory filings to gauge 2026 growth trajectories for these specific entities.
