Propelled by resilient consumer spending and surging enterprise infrastructure demand, companies including SharkNinja and Dominion Energy have aggressively raised their fiscal 2026 forecasts, while multiple cross-border and renewable energy M&A deals are nearing completion, according to people familiar with the matter.

### Dominion Energy

Bolstered by unprecedented data center demand, Dominion Energy (D.US) reported a 22% surge in adjusted operating profit for its Virginia segment to USD 670M. Connected data center capacity skyrocketed from 5.3 gigawatts in December to 53.8 gigawatts by July 2026, according to corporate filings. The company is targeting an estimated USD 11.7B in costs for its 2.6-gigawatt coastal Virginia offshore wind project, and is nearing a deal to divest a non-regulated solar portfolio to Enel for USD 140M, with the transaction expected to close by late 2026.
