The RMB central parity against the USD was set at 6.7884, up 20 bps from the previous day and reaching a new high since 10 Feb 2023. The PBOC conducted RMB18 billion of seven-day reverse repos at an unchanged operation rate of 1.4%, while RMB63 billion of reverse repos matured, resulting in a net daily liquidity withdrawal of RMB45 billion. The three major A-share indices opened 0.1%-0.3% higher this morning (10th). The Shanghai Composite Index opened up 3 pts or 0.1% at 3,943. The Shenzhen Component Index opened up 37 pts or 0.3% at 14,348. The ChiNext Index opened up 3 pts or 0.11% at 3,567. Among mainland banking stocks, ICBC (601398.SH) 0.000 (0.000%) and CCB (601939.SH) +0.040 (+0.397%) opened down 0.5% and 0.9%, respectively, while CMB (600036.SH) +0.230 (+0.593%) opened nearly flat. Among mainland insurers, CHINA LIFE (601628.SH) -0.070 (-0.181%) opened down 0.7%, while CHINA PACIFIC INSURANCE (601601.SH) +0.070 (+0.222%) opened down 0.1%. In addition, BYD Company (002594.SZ) +0.400 (+0.444%) opened flat. CONTEMPORARY AMPEREX (300750.SZ) +2.290 (+0.592%) opened down 0.3%. It was reported that the environmental impact assessment disclosure for its Yichun Jianxiawo lithium mine has been completed and will proceed to review after submission. Among chip stocks, SMIC (688981.SH) -3.160 (-2.459%) opened nearly flat, while HUA HONG GRACE (688347.SH) -6.200 (-2.311%) opened down 1.2%. AI chip stock CAMBRICON (688256.SH) -39.990 (-3.333%) opened down 3.1% despite the company's revenue and net profit more than doubling in 1H26. Domestic GPU stocks METAX (688802.SH) +2.930 (+0.402%) and MOORE THREADS (688795.SH) -13.350 (-2.233%) opened down 0.8% and 1.8%, respectively. MOORE THREADS reported a 147% surge in 1H26 revenue and a substantial narrowing of net loss, and is planning an H-share listing in Hong Kong. LQKJ (688008.SH) -5.820 (-2.700%) opened flat. Optical fiber stock YANGTZE OPTICAL FIBRE (601869.SH) +1.050 (+0.310%) opened up 1.9%. Memory chip stock GIGADEVICE (603986.SH) -12.180 (-2.921%) opened down 0.4%. SEMIGHT INSTRUMENTS (688808.SH) -99.990 (-4.504%) opened down 1.4%. Among the three major optical module players known as "Yi Zhong Tian", ZHONGJI INNOLIGHT (300308.SZ) -39.860 (-4.333%) opened down 0.2%, while TFC (300394.SZ) -5.440 (-2.358%) and EOPTOLINK (300502.SZ) -24.950 (-5.927%) opened up 1.1% and down 0.2%, respectively. CXMT (688825.SH) -1.220 (-2.325%) opened nearly flat. It was reported that Apple is testing the use of CXMT chips in iPhone and MacBook products. APPTEC (603259.SH) +6.540 (+4.224%) said the preliminary injunction motion regarding the Section 1260H list was approved by the court, sending its shares up 3.3% at the open.
