# U.S. 10-Year Treasury Yield Rises More Than 5 Basis Points

On Monday (August 10, one trading day after the release of the U.S. nonfarm payrolls report), at the New York close, the U.S. 10-Year Treasury Yield rose 5.51 basis points, nearing the daily high of 4.7005% refreshed at 00:46 Beijing time. Overall, it showed a long-tailed V-shaped reversal, dipping slightly to 4.6393% at 15:15 to set a new daily low.

The yield on the two-year U.S. Treasury note rose 4.58 basis points, nearing the daily high of 4.2410% refreshed at 00:44, with gains continuing to widen since 16:00; the yield on the 30-year U.S. Treasury bond rose 4.48 basis points to 5.2456%.

The spread between the two-year and 10-year U.S. Treasury yields rose 1.145 basis points to +45.953 basis points.

The yield on the 10-year Treasury Inflation-Protected Security (TIPS) rose 3.65 basis points to 2.4256%; the yield on the two-year TIPS fell 0.66 basis points to 2.0339%; the yield on the 30-year TIPS rose 3.48 basis points to 3.0134%.
