Overnight, the U.S. stock market's "fear gauge," the Cboe Volatility Index, fell to 14—essentially its lowest point this year;

Goldman Sachs' Ece Kepekci summarized it well:

"The market has shifted from high anxiety to virtually no panic... I think summer vibes and beach leisure are the current themes."
