The PBOC did not conduct seven-day reverse repo operations today (13th). With RMB1 billion of reverse repos maturing, the single-day net withdrawal reached RMB1 billion. The three major A-share indices opened 0.3% to 1.5% higher this morning. The Shanghai Composite Index opened up 10 pts or 0.27% at 3,957. The Shenzhen Component Index opened up 122 pts or 0.85% at 14,536. The ChiNext Index opened up 54 pts or 1.52% at 3,656. Among mainland Chinese bank stocks, ICBC (601398.SH) -0.010 (-0.133%) and CCB (601939.SH) -0.030 (-0.293%) opened down 0.5% and 0.7%, respectively, while CMB (600036.SH) -0.040 (-0.103%) opened down 0.3%. Among mainland Chinese insurance stocks, CHINA LIFE (601628.SH) +0.010 (+0.027%) opened down 0.5%, while CHINA PACIFIC INSURANCE (601601.SH) +0.050 (+0.164%) opened down 0.4%. In addition, BYD Company (002594.SZ) -0.300 (-0.332%) opened down 0.04%, while CONTEMPORARY AMPEREX (300750.SZ) -0.710 (-0.180%) opened down 0.2%. Among chip stocks, SMIC (688981.SH) +4.260 (+3.329%) opened up 0.8%, while HUA HONG GRACE (688347.SH) +11.650 (+4.264%) opened up 2.5%. AI chip stock CAMBRICON (688256.SH) +54.620 (+4.941%) opened up 2.2%. The company said changes in the future market environment may increase inventory impairment risks and adversely affect profitability, and it will continue expanding the market and controlling related risks.
