# YETI Holdings Q2 Profit, Revenue Rise; Raises Annual Adj. Profit Outlook

YETI Holdings, Inc. (YETI), a designer and marketer of outdoor products, on Thursday reported higher second-quarter profit, supported by strong revenue growth and a net tariff benefit.

Net income increased to $71.32 million or $0.94 per share from $51.15 million or $0.61 per share a year ago.

The net tariff benefit included a $0.45 per share IEEPA tariff refund, partly offset by a $0.05 unfavorable impact from higher year-over-year tariffs.

Excluding one-time items, adjusted net income decreased 8% to $50.7 million, while adjusted earnings per share increased 2% to $0.67.

Operating income increased 50.8% to $93.52 million from $62.02 million last year.

Net sales grew 8.5% to $483.87 million from $445.89 million in the prior year. 

Looking ahead, the company raised its full-year adjusted EPS outlook to $2.94 - $3.00 from $2.83 - $2.89 previously, while maintaining its sales growth outlook of 7% to 8%.

YETI shares were down nearly 2% in pre-market trading after closing at $50.84 on Wednesday.
