Electric air taxi stocks can offer huge upside, but they also come with heavy spending, long certification timelines, and plenty of execution risk. Among Archer Aviation Inc. (ACHR), Joby Aviation, Inc. (JOBY), and Vertical Aerospace Ltd. (EVTL), Wall Street currently gives Archer the strongest combination of analyst support and upside potential. ### Claim 55% Off TipRanks High conviction ACHR bulls now have this Tradr ETF According to TipRanks data, Archer carries a Strong Buy consensus rating based on six analyst ratings, with an average price target of $11.60. That implies about 84% upside from its recent share price. Joby has a Hold consensus and about 44% implied upside, while Vertical carries a Moderate Buy rating but has far less analyst coverage. That makes Archer look like the safest of the three based strictly on Wall Street's current view. ## **Archer Has the Broadest Analyst Support** Archer Aviation, which is developing electric air taxis as well as autonomous and defense aircraft, has five Buy ratings, one Hold, and no Sell ratings among the six analysts included in TipRanks' current consensus. The average price target stands at $11.60, with targets ranging from $8 to $18. Analysts have become more positive on Archer following its second-quarter results and agreement to acquire Boeing's (BA) Wisk Aero, Insitu, and SkyGrid businesses. H.C. Wainwright four-star analyst Amit Dayal is the most bullish of the group, reiterating a Buy rating with an $18 price target. Cantor Fitzgerald four-star analyst Andres Sheppard maintained an $11 target, while Needham's Chris Pierce kept his Buy rating and $9 target. The breadth of that support is important when comparing Archer with the other two stocks. Archer's upside estimate is not based on one particularly optimistic analyst.
