# U.S. Treasury Yields Fall Broadly on PPI Data Release Day

At the New York close on Thursday (August 13), the yield on the 10-Year U.S. Treasury Note fell by 4.57 basis points, declining rapidly after the release of U.S. PPI data.

The two-year U.S. Treasury yield dropped by 4.82 basis points. It had been trading sideways with slight fluctuations since the opening of the Asia-Pacific session, before also declining rapidly after the PPI data release. The 30-year U.S. Treasury yield fell by 4.28 basis points to close at 5.214%.

The yield on 10-year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) fell by 4.16 basis points to 2.378%, while the yield on 30-year TIPS dropped by 3.20 basis points to 2.985%.
