The PBOC did not conduct 7-day reverse repo operations today (14th), but launched RMB349 billion overnight reverse repo operations. With RMB1 billion reverse repos maturing today, the single-day net injection amounted to RMB348 billion. A-share three major indices opened 0.08% to 0.7% higher this morning. The Shanghai Composite Index opened up 3 pts or 0.08% at 3,930. The Shenzhen Component Index opened up 45 pts or 0.32% at 14,335. The ChiNext Index opened up 24 pts or 0.67% at 3,610. Among mainland bank stocks, ICBC (601398.SH) -0.030 (-0.395%) and CCB (601939.SH) -0.020 (-0.194%) opened down 0.8% and 0.7% respectively, while CMB (600036.SH) -0.170 (-0.438%) opened down 0.3%. Among mainland insurers, CHINA LIFE (601628.SH) -0.350 (-0.934%) and CHINA PACIFIC INSURANCE (601601.SH) -0.240 (-0.789%) both opened down 0.4%. In addition, BYD Company (002594.SZ) -0.330 (-0.368%) opened down 0.5%, while CONTEMPORARY AMPEREX (300750.SZ) +1.810 (+0.457%) opened down 0.3%. Among chip stocks, SMIC (688981.SH) +3.890 (+3.005%) opened up 3.5% after the company reported 2Q net profit of USD479 million, up 261.7% YoY. HUA HONG GRACE (688347.SH) -22.990 (-8.300%) opened down 2.5% after the company reported 2Q net profit of USD38.64 million, up 3.8x YoY, while sales revenue hit a record high. AI chip stock CAMBRICON (688256.SH) -5.240 (-0.474%) opened up 1.3%. Domestic GPU stocks METAX (688802.SH) -5.500 (-0.736%) and MOORE THREADS (688795.SH) -5.010 (-0.857%) opened up 1.7% and 0.01% respectively. LQKJ (688008.SH) +2.560 (+1.218%) opened up 2.3%. Optical fibre stock YANGTZE OPTICAL FIBRE (601869.SH) +6.280 (+1.861%) opened up 1.6%. Memory chip stock GIGADEVICE (603986.SH) +11.100 (+2.744%) opened up 3.6%. SEMIGHT INSTRUMENTS (688808.SH) -3.470 (-0.157%) opened up 2.9%. Among the three major optical module players known as "Yi Zhong Tian", ZHONGJI INNOLIGHT (300308.SZ) +1.410 (+0.153%) opened nearly 1% higher, while TFC (300394.SZ) -3.160 (-1.229%) and EOPTOLINK (300502.SZ) +1.580 (+0.368%) opened up 1.9% and 1.3% respectively.
