The robot will feature Nvidia's Jetson Thor chip, combining the Isaac GR00T foundation model and Holoscan for Robotics technology, while integrating LG Electronics' actuators, LG Innotek's sensors, and LG Energy Solution's battery technology.
In terms of AI infrastructure, LG expects to build an AI factory demonstration site based on Nvidia's Vera Rubin platform in the first half of 2027, with plans to expand it into an 80-megawatt capacity facility in the first half of 2028. In addition, the two parties will advance next-generation AI-defined vehicle technology centered around Nvidia's DRIVE Hyperion platform.
