# Ferrari CZ26: what if the Luce had a baby with a SF90

Ferrari rolled out a new one-off at Monterey called the CZ26, and the face of it looks a lot like the brand’s first electric car. Underneath, it’s an SF90 Stradale plug-in hybrid with a 7.9 kWh battery and 25 km of electric range.

So Ferrari built something that wears the Luce’s design language on top of a twin-turbo V8. Basically, what you’d get if the Luce and the SF90 had a baby.

## What Ferrari actually built

The CZ26 came out of Ferrari’s Special Projects program, the commission service that turns a single client’s brief into a car. This one was designed by the Ferrari Design Studio under Flavio Manzoni for a US buyer, and Ferrari says these projects take about two years from idea to finished car.

Mechanically, nothing changed. Ferrari kept the SF90 Stradale’s full spec sheet: a 3,990 cc twin-turbo V8 rated at 797 cv, electric motors good for 162 kW, a 7.9 kWh battery, 328 km/h top speed, and 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds.
