The position became the largest U.S.-traded investment held by her firm, Hancock Prospecting. Explore SPCM & SPCG Interestingly, Rinehart had already hinted at the SpaceX investment earlier. In June, she disclosed that she made a "significant investment" around SpaceX's June 12 IPO. However, she did not reveal how large that investment was at the time. In addition to SpaceX, Rinehart bought roughly $260 million in ETFs that track the S&P 500 (SPY) and increased her exposure to several defense and energy companies. She also doubled her position in Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT). Overall, Hancock Prospecting reported 42 U.S.-traded holdings at the end of the quarter, spread mainly across mining, energy, technology, defense, and ETFs. ## **Musk Reveals His Stake** Separately, Elon Musk gave investors a better view of his own stake in SpaceX. According to a recent filing, Musk holds 6.42 billion shares, which represents a 48.4% economic stake worth more than $900 billion. More importantly, he also controls over 82% of the company's voting power, thereby giving him control over decisions. However, not all of those shares are fully guaranteed. Musk has said on X that part of his stake will only vest if SpaceX meets extremely difficult performance targets. As a result, a portion of his reported ownership still depends on the company's future success. ## **Is SPCX Stock a Good Buy?** Turning to Wall Street, analysts have a Moderate Buy consensus rating on SPCX stock based on 24 Buys, five Holds, and two Sells assigned in the past three months, as indicated by the graphic below. Furthermore, the average SPCX price target of $232.65 per share implies 69.3% upside potential.
