William Power has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors that highlight Datadog’s durable growth profile and upside potential. He emphasizes that, even after removing the contribution from its largest AI customer, the company has delivered several consecutive quarters of accelerating revenue growth, and he believes current guidance for the back half of 2026 is set conservatively, leaving room for outperformance.

Power also underscores that non‑AI customers, which make up the majority of revenue, continue to accelerate thanks to strong observability demand and Datadog’s leading product position. While he expects OpenAI‑related revenue to step down, he sees ongoing strength from other AI‑native customers and a credible path to roughly $6 billion in 2027 revenue and about $1.5 billion in free cash flow, supporting his unchanged $300 price target and justifying a Buy rating.

In another report released on August 13, Canaccord Genuity also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $295.00 price target.
