# Geely Auto appoints An Conghui as Chairman of the Board

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Geely Auto (00175) announced that Mr. Li Shufu has resigned as Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the company, effective August 18, 2026, to devote more time to his other businesses and to facilitate the implementation of the company's long-term succession planning. This leadership adjustment also aims to further improve the professional manager's authorized operating mechanism and optimize the company's corporate governance structure.

In recognition of Mr. Li Shufu's outstanding contributions to the group's development over the years and his continued support for the group, the Board announced that Mr. Li Shufu has accepted the appointment as the company's Lifetime Honorary Chairman. The Lifetime Honorary Chairman is an honorary title and does not constitute part of the company's corporate governance structure.

In addition, the company's Executive Director, Mr. An Conghui, has been appointed as Chairman of the Board, Mr. Li Donghui has resigned as Vice Chairman of the Board, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gui Shengyue, has been appointed as Vice Chairman of the Board and has resigned from the position of Chief Executive Officer of the company, and Executive Director, Mr. Gan Jiayue, has been appointed as the company's Chief Executive Officer, effective August 18, 2026
