The firm secured $600M in contracts this year, including a $350M five-year agreement boosting Buzz subsidiary ARR to ~$180M. Mike Colonnese has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors tied to the rapid scaling of HIVE’s AI and high‑performance computing operations. He highlights that HIVE has secured $600 million in total contract value this year, including a new five‑year, $350 million AI cloud services agreement that lifts contracted annual recurring revenue for its Buzz subsidiary to about $180 million, leaving limited incremental ARR needed to reach the firm’s $200 million target by year‑end 2026.

He also underscores the attractive unit economics of the new GPU‑backed contract, with implied rental rates above prior deals, expected EBITDA margins of roughly 75%–80%, and funding supported by a mix of customer prepayments, recent convertible proceeds, and anticipated low‑cost GPU financing. In addition, he points to the potential signing of a colocation agreement at HIVE’s Boden, Sweden facility, which could add roughly $45 million in ARR, and views the company’s roughly 400 MW development pipeline as a strong foundation for continued growth, supporting his unchanged $7 price target and Buy recommendation.

In another report released on August 12, Northland Securities also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $6.00 price target.
