# Tesla is reportedly preparing to launch CyberCab to the public in August

Media reports citing informed sources indicate that Tesla has informed employees that it is preparing to launch the Cybercab to the public. This is Tesla's first model without a steering wheel and brake pedals.

According to reports, Tesla plans to first launch the Cybercab to the public in Austin, Texas, possibly as early as this month.

In recent weeks, the company has been preparing for the launch of the Cybercab, including conducting test drives, arranging for employees to ride on private roads, and training with local emergency personnel.

Tesla has informed employees that it plans to first allow employees to ride the Cybercab on public roads, followed by integrating the vehicle into Austin's Robotaxi service within a few days.

Reports indicate that Tesla's current internal goal is to launch the Cybercab to the public by the end of August, although the timeline may still be adjusted
