# Marvell CEO Sells $1.77M Ahead of Q2 Earnings. Can MRVL Stock Keep Climbing?

Marvell Technology (MRVL) stock has gained more than 160% year-to-date, but CEO Matthew Murphy sold 7,500 shares for a total of $1.77 million. Murphy still directly owns 783,186 shares after the sale. Analysts still see room for gains, with the average price target pointing to more than 16% upside. The sale comes ahead of Marvell's Q2 FY27 earnings report on August 27, with Wall Street expecting adjusted EPS of $0.93 on revenue of $2.71 billion.

The sale was made under a pre-arranged 10b5-1 trading plan adopted in December 2025. It therefore does not necessarily signal a change in Murphy's view of the company.
