The stock of Toll Brothers (TOL) is down in after-hours trading despite the luxury homebuilder delivering quarterly financial results that beat Wall Street forecasts. The company reported fiscal third-quarter earnings of $2.97 a share on $2.7 billion in revenue. The consensus forecast among analysts called for earnings of $2.93 on sales of $2.6 billion.

Despite the top and bottom line beats, Toll Brothers missed the mark when it came to home deliveries. Management said the company delivered 2,508 homes in the quarter, falling short of the 2,610 that analysts had expected.
