Carly Davenport has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors tied to both policy developments and company fundamentals. He views Pennsylvania’s new GRID-focused executive order as mainly constraining weaker, speculative data center projects, while high-quality, well-capitalized developments like those benefiting TLN should see limited disruption despite near-term political noise across the PJM region.

Carly Davenport’s rating is based on TLN’s attractive valuation and resilient cash flow profile even without additional Pennsylvania data center deals. With the stock trading at a compelling free-cash-flow yield on 2027 estimates and meaningful growth opportunities in other states such as Ohio, he believes TLN offers a favorable risk-reward balance, supporting his Buy recommendation.

According to TipRanks, Davenport is a 2-star analyst with an average return of 1.4% and a 51.02% success rate. Davenport covers the Utilities sector, focusing on stocks such as Talen Energy Corp, Duke Energy, and Eversource Energy.

In another report released today, Exane BNP Paribas also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $560.00 price target.
