# Trending | PURR Surges 30% on Wednesday, Some Call options Soar 3600%

On August 19, Eastern Time, Hyperliquid Strategies options saw a total of 131164 contracts traded, with calls accounting for 94% and puts making up 5%.

Hyperliquid Strategies has 400590 contracts outstanding, with calls accounting for 75% and puts making up 24%.

The top volume gainer was the 9 dollars Call option expiring on August 21, 2026, with 25136 contracts traded.

On the news front, PURR surged ~30% Wednesday to $9.390, driven by a volume spike to 62M shares and heavy call buying, with some options jumping 3600%. The stock held steady near $7.20 earlier in the week before the sharp rally.
