# CHINA TELECOM  2Q 5G Network Net Additions Slow to 8.37 million Users

CHINA TELECOM (00728.HK) +0.005 (+0.106%) Short selling $44.69M; Ratio 13.799% announced that its mobile subscribers reached 442 million in the second quarter, with net additions of 1.88 million users during the quarter. Among them, 5G network users totaled 323 million, with net additions of 8.37 million users during the quarter, slowing from the net increase of 12.32 million users in 1Q26.
