While shares are lower, technical analysis using a short-term RSI suggests a potential reversal higher. Buyers are expected to enter as the stock hits support levels previously broken, driven by mean-reversion trading models." datetime: "2026-08-20T16:02:08.000Z" locales: - [zh-CN](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/296516717.md) - [en](https://longbridge.com/en/news/296516717.md) - [zh-HK](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/296516717.md) generator: "portal-rs" --- # Stock of the Day: Is Nebius About to Reverse? **Nebius Group N.V.** (NASDAQ:NBIS) shares are lower Thursday. But that may not be the case for long. They are oversold and at a support level. This could set the stage for a move higher. That’s why Nebius is the Stock of the Day. Most of the time, a stock stays within its typical or usual range. If aggressive and emotional sellers push the shares below this range, traders say the stock is oversold. This is important because many trading models are based on the mean-reverting assumption. Buyers will enter oversold markets because they expect a reversion or a move higher. Their buying could push the price up. One of the most interesting things about reading charts is their fractal nature. The same patterns can be seen on charts of different time horizons. This is because charts illustrate the psychology of people trading different timeframes. Regardless of the timeframe of the strategies, the traders all experience the same emotions. These emotions are what can be seen on a chart. On the bottom of the Nebiuo Chart, there are two examples of the Relative Strength Index (RSI). This is a common tool that is used to determine if a stock is oversold. It measures how much it has moved from time period A to B. The one at the top uses 14 time periods. This is the default setting. Within this time horizon, the shares are not considered to be oversold. The indicator on the bottom is measuring the movement in between just 3 time periods.  Within this horizon, Nebius is considered to be oversold. There may be support around $220. People who sold around that level regretted doing so when the resistance was broken. Now that the shares have dropped back to their selling prices, buyers are placing buy orders, creating support. The fractal nature of charts is an amazing phenomenon. In fact, if the dates and times were removed from a chart, it would be impossible to know which time periods it covers. There is a chance Nebius moves higher from here. **Read Also: A 10-Year Treasury Bond Now Pays More Than 118 Of America's Biggest Companies** *Image: Shutterstock* ### Related Stocks - [NBIS.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NBIS.US.md) - [NEBX.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NEBX.US.md) - [NBIG.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NBIG.US.md) - [NBIL.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NBIL.US.md) - [NBIZ.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NBIZ.US.md) ## Related News & Research - [Why Are Nebius Shares Trading Lower On Wednesday?](https://longbridge.com/en/news/296383504.md) - [Nebius Group announces pricing of upsized private offering of $5.0 billion of convertible senior notes | NBIS Stock News](https://longbridge.com/en/news/296428939.md) - [Yielding 5.8%, is Verizon stock a buying opportunity?](https://longbridge.com/en/news/296305106.md) - [Massive Put Options Trading in Bank of NY Mellon - Out-of-the-Money 3.33% Yield](https://longbridge.com/en/news/296256958.md) - [2-Year Treasury Yield Rises to 4.185% — Data Talk](https://longbridge.com/en/news/296530144.md) --- > **Disclaimer: This article is for reference only and does not constitute any investment advice.**
