The HSCEI settled at 8,589, up 41 pts or 0.48%. The HSTECH concluded at 4,724, up 23 pts or 0.5%. Among heavyweight techs, BABA-W (09988.HK) -3.900 (-3.090%) Short selling $2.62B; Ratio 24.353% logged adjusted net profit for its 1FQ miss. Although several brokers upgraded the stock, its share price reversed course after opening higher and slid 3.09% by midday. NTES (09999.HK) +4.300 (+2.223%) Short selling $239.71M; Ratio 15.177% rallied 2.22% on strong gaming business in 2Q26.
