# BYD Fang Cheng Bao opens pre-orders for Formula S models

BYD’s Fang Cheng Bao brand opened pre-orders for its first sedan lineup on Aug. 20, with the Formula S and Formula S GT priced from RMB230,000 to RMB280,000. The two models made their global debut at the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show on Aug. 21.

The lineup includes both single- and dual-motor versions. The cars can use a single motor rated at up to 300 kilowatts or a dual-motor setup rated at 190 kW and 300 kW, with a top speed of 240 kilometers per hour. The models are scheduled to launch in the third quarter. \[\[CnEVPost\]
