According to the firm's SEC filing, she still controlled about 3.85 million AMD shares after the transaction, including both direct and indirect holdings. On the same day, Ava Hahn, AMD's senior vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary, sold 2,993 shares for about $1.46 million. The filing showed that she directly held 26,623 AMD shares after the sale. The sales came after AMD's quarterly earnings blackout period, which prevents executives from illegally trading shares shortly before and after financial results are released. SEC filings show that both Su and Hahn's trades were planned in advance through Rule 10b5-1 trading plans. The latest move adds to a broader pattern of insider selling at AMD. Chief Technology Officer Mark Papermaster and Chief Strategy Officer Paul Grasby have also reported share sales in recent months. Meanwhile, AMD shares closed Thursday at $469.46, up 0.65% according to TipRanks data. The stock extended gains in Friday's premarket trading, moving above $474.
