# Big Tech Mixed Intraday: TSLA Surges Over 5%, AAPL Dips Nearly 1%

During intraday trading on August 21, Big Tech stocks displayed a divergent trend. As of press time, Tesla (TSLA.US) stood out with a surge of over 5%, trading at $363.40. The stock hit an intraday high of $364.48, with turnover reaching $12.57 billion. Google (GOOGL.US) and Meta (META.US) followed with gains, rising 1.43% to $345.53 and 1.25% to $552.68, respectively.

On the other hand, Apple (AAPL.US) and Amazon (AMZN.US) experienced slight pullbacks. Apple dipped 0.21% to $310.64, while Amazon fell 0.46% to $258.91. TSMC (TSM.US) edged down 0.48% to $418.00. Overall, capital competition within the sector was intense, with leading stocks showing varied performance.

In terms of derivative instruments, Tesla-related leveraged products saw significant volatility. TSLL.US jumped over 9% to $9.80, while the inverse product TSDD.US plummeted nearly 11% to $8.16. Google-directional products GGLL.US and GGLS.US recorded gains of 2.75% and declines of 1.40% respectively, reflecting divergent market expectations for the short-term trajectory of tech giants.
