# Archer Aviation (ACHR) Insider Sells $631,000 in Stock as Shares Jump Over 3%

Archer Aviation Inc. (ACHR), an electric aircraft developer focused on urban air mobility, disclosed a notable insider sale after Chief Strategy Officer Eric Lentell sold 100,000 shares on August 20 for $6.31 each, bringing in about $631,000.  
The sale is worth watching because Lentell is a current senior officer, but the filing also gives investors an important piece of context: the deal was carried out under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan that he adopted on May 22, 2026.

That makes the sale less informative than a discretionary insider sale made without a pre-arranged plan. After the transaction, Lentell still directly owned 85,011 Archer shares and also held restricted stock units tied to as many as 435,687 additional shares, subject to vesting.

At the same time, ACHR shares rose 3.45% on Friday, closing at $6.30.
