Shrenik Kothari has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors, including what he views as a highly favorable near-term setup and conservative guidance that leaves room for upside. He believes Okta’s core businesses in workforce identity, OIG, and platform consolidation are executing well, with low-teens cRPO growth likely to validate solid fundamentals and potentially rekindle the narrative around revenue reacceleration as forward comparisons ease.

Kothari also highlights emerging strength in Okta’s AI Agents offering, which is now generally available and generating larger-than-average pipeline opportunities that are not yet embedded meaningfully in FY27 expectations, creating incremental upside. Supported by strong partner checks, improving sentiment, and a rerating that still leaves the stock below historical valuation ranges, he raises his price target from $170 to $175, reflecting confidence in sustained core execution and the long-term growth potential of agentic identity as a budgeted, strategic priority for customers.

Kothari covers the Technology sector, focusing on stocks such as Palo Alto Networks, Cloudflare, and Gitlab. According to TipRanks, Kothari has an average return of 26.1% and a 72.56% success rate on recommended stocks.

In another report released on August 21, KeyBanc also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $180.00 price target.
