# Trending | RGTI Surges 11% last Friday, Some Call options Soar 400%

On August 21, Eastern Time, Rigetti Computing options saw a total of 114320 contracts traded, with calls accounting for 71% and puts making up 28%.

Rigetti Computing has 745370 contracts outstanding, with calls accounting for 57% and puts making up 42%.

The top volume gainer was the 18 dollars Call option expiring on August 28, 2026, with 5128 contracts traded.

On the news front, RGTI closed Friday at $17.910, up from $16.315 open, on 23,134,924 volume. The surge was fueled by aggressive call buying, with contracts jumping 400%, driving speculative inflows and pushing the intraday high to $18.055.
