# Shell Could Get $8 Billion for U.S. Chemicals Assets as It Draws Interested Parties, FT Says, Citing Sources

--Shell has received expressions of interest for its U.S. chemicals assets from Exxon, LyondellBasell, Apollo and the chemicals division of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, the Financial Times reports, citing unnamed sources.

--The British energy major could get $8 billion for the assets, which could be sold together or separately, the FT says. 

--Representatives for Shell, Exxon and Apollo declined to comment to the FT. Lyondell and the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation did not respond to requests for comment, the FT says
