This edition looks at quantum companies moving closer to real-world deployment, with IonQ, Inc. (IONQ) expanding access to its systems in Canada, OQC raising £260 million to build out its quantum infrastructure, Crypto4A clearing an important post-quantum security standard, several public quantum companies reshaping their leadership teams, and Quantum X Labs (QXL) reporting new progress in AI-powered quantum error correction. ### Summer Sale - Claim 70% Off TipRanks High conviction QNT bears now have this Tradr ETF ## **1\. IonQ Expands Quantum Access in Canada** We begin with IonQ, Inc., a quantum computing company best known for its trapped-ion systems. IonQ is now a listed cloud quantum computing provider for Canada's FABrIC Quantum Computing Sandbox, a government-backed program managed by CMC Microsystems that gives researchers and small and medium-sized businesses access to quantum hardware and engineering support. The agreement gives IonQ another route to put its commercial systems in front of potential users, but it did not disclose financial terms. ## **2\. OQC Raises £260 Million as Quantum Funding Grows** Privately held OQC has raised £260 million in a Series C round that will help the UK quantum computing company expand internationally and build more secure, scalable quantum infrastructure for customers. The funding comes as Quantinuum (QNT) moves toward the public markets, giving investors another sign that large amounts of capital are moving into companies trying to turn quantum computing into a commercial business. For OQC, the new money should provide more room to develop its processors and software while deploying systems for customers. ## **3\. Crypto4A Clears a Key Post-Quantum Security Standard** Canadian cybersecurity company Crypto4A has received NIST FIPS 140-3 Level 3 validation for QASM, the cryptographic module behind its quantum-safe hardware security platform. The module supports NIST-standardized post-quantum algorithms, including ML-KEM, ML-DSA, and SLH-DSA, while the company says its hardware lets customers move away from older RSA and ECC security without replacing their underlying appliances. Crypto4A has also partnered with DigiCert to bring the technology into digital signing and certificate infrastructure. Unlike many early quantum announcements, this one addresses a problem companies and governments can act on today: upgrading security before sufficiently powerful quantum computers make current encryption methods more vulnerable. ## **4\. D-Wave, Rigetti, and BTQ Build Out Their Leadership Teams** Several quantum companies are also making management changes as they prepare for broader commercialization. D-Wave Quantum Inc. (QBTS) added former VMware finance executive Kevan Krysler to its board and audit committee. BTQ Technologies (BTQ) brought former Samsung Knox security leader Michael Grace onto its U.S. technical team as its Quantum Compute-in-Memory technology moves through integration and validation, while Rigetti Computing, Inc. (RGTI) created a dedicated Systems Delivery organization and moved former CTO David Rivas into the new COO role, with Andrew Bestwick taking over as CTO. Rigetti's changes are especially worth watching because they put manufacturing, installations, and commercial delivery into a dedicated organization, areas that will become increasingly important if customer demand begins to scale. ## **5\. Quantum X Labs Reports Progress on AI Quantum Error Correction** We end with Quantum X Labs Inc. (QXL), a quantum software company developing AI-based tools for quantum error correction. The company says an updated version of its decoder achieved better accuracy than standard matching-based approaches when tested on Google's (GOOGL) public experimental surface-code data, even though the model was trained entirely on synthetic samples. Quantum X Labs is also building the system around NVIDIA's (NVDA) CUDA-Q and GPU computing technology as it works toward the low latency needed for real-time error correction. The result is an encouraging technical benchmark, but investors will need to see whether the performance can be repeated across more hardware systems and eventually turned into a commercial product, since reliable error correction remains one of the biggest hurdles to building useful fault-tolerant quantum computers. ### Related Stocks - [BTQ.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/BTQ.US.md) - [RGTI.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/RGTI.US.md) - [QBTS.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/QBTS.US.md) - [QXL.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/QXL.US.md) - [IONQ.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/IONQ.US.md) - [QBTX.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/QBTX.US.md) - [IONL.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/IONL.US.md) - [IONZ.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/IONZ.US.md) - [QBTZ.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/QBTZ.US.md) - [RGTZ.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/RGTZ.US.md) - [RGTX.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/RGTX.US.md) - [IONX.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/IONX.US.md) - [RGTU.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/RGTU.US.md) - [IOYY.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/IOYY.US.md) - [QNT.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/QNT.US.md) - [GOOGL.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/GOOGL.US.md) - [NVDA.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDA.US.md) - [IONQ+.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/IONQ+.US.md) - [QBTS+.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/QBTS+.US.md) - [RGTIW.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/RGTIW.US.md) - [GOOG.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/GOOG.US.md) - [NVD.DE](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVD.DE.md) ## Related News & Research - [IonQ partners with CMC Microsystems to provide cloud quantum computing access in Canada](https://longbridge.com/en/news/296265210.md) - [Quantum X Labs director Eliyahu Yoresh reports purchase of 4,500 common shares valued at $21,465](https://longbridge.com/en/news/296792046.md) - [Rigetti Computing (NASDAQ:RGTI) CFO Jeffrey Bertelsen Sells 3,860 Shares](https://longbridge.com/en/news/296537917.md) - [Rosenblatt Says These 5 Quantum Stocks Could Nearly Triple](https://longbridge.com/en/news/294376563.md) - [Five-Star Analyst Is Bullish on D-Wave (QBTS) Stock, Sets $30 Target as Quantum Backlog Grows](https://longbridge.com/en/news/294054616.md) --- > **Disclaimer: This article is for reference only and does not constitute any investment advice.**
