# Marvell and Nvidia Stock Forecasts: Which AI Semiconductor Stock Faces the Bigger Earnings Move?

Marvell Technology (MRVL) and Nvidia (NVDA) are heading into earnings this week with high hopes related to AI demand. Marvell will report its results on August 27, one day after Nvidia reports its fiscal second-quarter results. The options market sees a much bigger move for Marvell. Options imply an 11.31% move for MRVL, or about $26.80. Nvidia options imply a 6.17% move, or about $13.25. Meanwhile, Wall Street expects Marvell to report adjusted EPS of $0.93 on $2.72 billion in revenue. At the same time, Nvidia is expected to post EPS of $2.09 on $92.25 billion in revenue. ## **Marvell Stock Faces an 11% Earnings Move**

Marvell stock has gained about 179% this year. MRVL options are pricing in an 11.31% move after the company reports earnings on August 27. With MRVL stock at about $237.04, the expected move is roughly $26.80 in either direction. That gives the stock an implied range of about $210.24 to $263.84 after earnings.
