Chevron Says Venezuela Oil Sales Will Fund $7 Billion Expansion

Chevron Corp. said its $7 billion expansion in Venezuela will be financed with profits from crude produced and sold in the country, rather than outside cash injections, according to Bloomberg. The comment came from Chevron Chief Executive Officer Mike Wirth, who said the oil giant expects the project to be self-funded through Venezuelan operations.
