Intel (INTC) traded 2.5% higher near $102.84 after President Donald Trump said his proposed $5,000 payment to American adults will happen indefinitely. According to BeInCrypto, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said the checks would not come from tax revenue and pointed to Washington’s Intel stake as a possible funding source, though the shares remain unsold. Washington holds 433.3 million Intel shares bought for $8.9 billion, worth about $44.6 billion at Friday’s price.
