According to CNBC, Workday rose 5% as efforts to secure financing for a bid to take the cloud-based human resources software platform private continued, citing unidentified sources. Lucid Group added almost 9% after its chief executive told Bloomberg that restructuring work with advisors had ended, while SiTime rallied almost 10% after Morgan Stanley started coverage with an overweight rating and a $730 price target. Tower Semiconductor gained almost 9% after agreeing with privately held New Photonics to a high-volume shipment of laser-integrated optical engines for AI infrastructure, and Fluence Energy fell 14% after cutting full-year guidance to $2.4 billion in revenue for 2026 and a loss of $200 million before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. Vital Farms climbed 9% after Axios said it is exploring strategic alternatives, including privatization. Generac soared 19% after striking a deal with Amazon to supply backup power generators for its data centers, with initial deliveries expected to total $2.4 billion between 2027 and 2028 and Amazon granted the right to buy up to $340 million of Generac stock. Amazon shares rose 1.3%. Arm Holdings CEO Rene Haas said he is increasingly confident the company can meet demand for its new data center chip, and Vicor surged 15% after granting a non-exclusive license to an AI OEM for its Vertical Power Delivery modules.
