The sixth session of the seventh Shenzhen Municipal People's Congress will be held on February 25, with Shenzhen Mayor Qin Weizhong delivering the government work report. The report states that by 2025, Shenzhen will build a "high-level international trade hub." Specifically, Shenzhen will expand the export scale of advantageous industry products, strengthen the import of key commodities such as advanced technology equipment and key components, bulk energy, and high-quality agricultural products, and construct a national import trade promotion innovation demonstration zone with high quality. The city will continue to explore new emerging markets in countries along the "Belt and Road," as well as ASEAN, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. It will actively promote the development of multimodal transport with a "single order" and "single container" system, with port container throughput exceeding 33 million TEUs. The international trading center for electronic components and integrated circuits will achieve a transaction volume of 100 billion yuan, while the Qianhai United Trading Center's soybean trading will exceed 15 million tons
