According to the announcement from HBYH (000422.SZ), in order to implement the "Yangtze River Protection" policy and promote the upgrading of the company's chlor-alkali chemical industry, the company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary HBYH New Energy Co., Ltd., is constructing a 200,000 tons/year caustic soda relocation and energy-saving renovation project (referred to as the "caustic soda project"). As of the announcement date, the caustic soda project has completed the construction of a 200,000 tons/year caustic soda production facility and related supporting facilities. After review by the relevant authorities, it has recently been safely and smoothly put into production, with caustic soda products operating at full capacity.

The company is taking the opportunity to implement the "closure, transformation, relocation, and adjustment" tasks for chemical enterprises within 1 kilometer along the river. Based on the replacement and utilization of the original caustic soda production capacity indicators, the company is fully leveraging the industrial synergy advantages of the Tianjiahe Park to promote energy-saving renovations, improve quality and efficiency in the chlor-alkali chemical industry, optimize the structure of chlor-alkali products, and further enhance market competitiveness
