The three major indices of A-shares in Shanghai and Shenzhen rose 0.6%-2.3% in the first half of the day, with domestic property, electricity, and innovative pharmaceutical concept stocks continuing to rise
The People's Bank of China today (8th) conducted a 69 billion yuan (same below) seven-day reverse repurchase operation in the open market, with the operation interest rate remaining at 1.4%. Today, 131 billion yuan of reverse repos are maturing, resulting in a net withdrawal of 62 billion yuan. The central parity rate of the yuan against the US dollar is reported at 7.1534, down 28 points.
The three major A-share indices performed well in the morning session. The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 3,493 points at noon, up 0.6%, with a turnover of 340.4 billion yuan; the Shenzhen Component Index closed at 10,568 points at noon, up 132 points or 1.3%, with a turnover of 532.6 billion yuan; the ChiNext Index closed at 2,178 points at noon, up 48 points or 2.3%, with a turnover of 264 billion yuan.
Banking stocks such as China Construction Bank (601939.SH) and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH) rose by 0.3% and 0.5%, respectively.
Real estate-related stocks continued to rise, with Yu Development (000514.SZ) and Hefei Urban Construction (002208.SZ) both hitting the daily limit. Tefa Service (300917.SZ) rose another 1.6%.
Power and power equipment concept stocks continued to rise, with Jinshi Technology (002951.SZ) and DHEP (600744.SH) hitting the daily limit again. Huaguang Huaneng (600475.SH) and Shenzhen Nanshan Electric A (000037.SZ) rose by 7.3% and 3%, respectively.
Innovative drug concept stocks took turns to rise, with Guangshengtang (300436.SZ) and Hainan Haiyao (000566.SZ) rising by 5.9% and 3.4%, respectively. Ha Sanlian (002900.SZ) hit the daily limit.
Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (300750.SZ) rose by 1.4%. Luxshare Precision (002475.SZ) and Yiwei Lithium Energy (300014.SZ) rose by 1.4% and 1.7%, respectively. BYD (002594.SZ) underperformed the market, rising less than 1 point at noon
